2007 Squadron Leadership School

Professional Development1. Pennsylvania Wing will be conducting a Squadron Leadership School on the 19th and 20th of May 2007 at Fort Indiantown Gap. Sign in for the course will be from 0800 - 0830 hours Saturday the 19th. Attendees should report to Building 3-108, which is the Wing Headquarters building. Prerequisites for the course are that the applicant must have completed Level 1 and must have a specialty track recorded at National Headquarters.

2. The SLS will meet the requirements set forth in CAPR 50-17 for advancement in the CAP senior member training program. The school will offer no less than twelve hours of training over these two days in a classroom setting.

3. The general schedule includes sign-in Saturday at 0830 hours, a full day of training until about 1700 hours on Saturday, reconvening on Sunday at 0900, with completion around 1500 Sunday. Participants must attend the full course to receive credit. The cost of the activity is $25.00 and this fee includes BOQ housing for Friday and Saturday night if needed. 4. Because of the early starting time, participants may want to come in on Friday the 18th of May. Please contact LTC Randy Lentz ASAP if on-base accommodations at The Gap are needed. During both days coffee, doughnuts and snacks will be provided throughout the day as well as lunch.
