From Pennsylvania Wing Public Affairs:

Pennsylvania Wing, along with other search and rescue teams, is searching a three-mile area of rural Dunkard Township, Penn., for a 12-year-old girl missing since June 13.

Gabrielle Bechen was reported missing by her parents after she did not return from an ATV ride near her home. “She has never done this before,” said her father. Bechen’s family has offered a $500 reward for her safe return, a sum that has been matched by a local company.

“We have 40 members on the search, with more CAP volunteers en route,” said Lt. Col. Michael Kindness, Pennsylvania Wing’s incident commander for the mission. Currently, the wing has contributed seven search and rescue ground teams and three aircraft to search efforts.

The wing is working closely with the Appalachian Search and Rescue Conference, the agency serving as the on-site command, according to Kindness, and joins search teams from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C. The Pennsylvania State Police is also using aircraft in the search.
